Involvement

There are 41 Christian churches in Greater Columbus (7 county area) with an average Church size of 360 currently reaching about 1.3% of population. Delaware County, on the north side of Greater Columbus, is the fastest growing county in the state, 13th fastest in the nation

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission^* projects a 34% increase in Population (422,000), 46% increase in Jobs (340,000) Delaware Co. to more than double (150K).

Our Goal: 45,000 attending Christian Churches by 2020. To do this we'll need 34 new churches averaging 500 in attendance and 41 existing churches to grow by 50%.

Our Strategies:

• Plant Church Planting Churches
• Help churches develop Multi-Site Ministries
• Start some urban/inner city and “organic” churches
• Create partnerships between churches and church planting organizations
• Provide training opportunities to help the existing churches grow

• Present: invite someone from the OCPA management team to visit your church, its leaders or Missions Team.
